The Roulette Tier Bet

The Roulette Tier bet has become increasingly popular, not only for land based casinos but for online casinos also. A land-based casino uses the Tier as a call bet. When the ball is spinning a customer would call the tier of a certain denomination, pass the chips to the dealer and the bet would be placed on what’s called the running track. If the Tier were won, the bet would be placed on the winning number and paid accordingly. It stands to reason that a land-based casino is very busy. Most Roulette games are full with people trying the place their bets and struggling to even get on the table. A call bet is good for customers who just like to stand back a wait until the last minute to place a bet.

An online casino is slightly different. You would either the place the best yourself, or the online UFABET have a facility where just the push of a button places the bet for you. All bets have to be placed before the ball is spun in a casino online. This is why the call bet is of no use when playing online.

What Is The Tier Bet?

The Tier bet is a group of numbers situated together around the Roulette wheel. The Tier consists of 12 numbers. There are 6 bets on the following splits.

5-8, 10-11, 13-16, 23-24, 27-30, 33-36

The customer can bet as much as they like up to the table maximum. For example, if they bet the Tier by £5, then it would be 6 £5 bets, which is £30.

The good thing about the Tier bet is that it covers 1 third of the wheel. The customer gets a 1 in 3 chance of a winning bet. Also a good tip for customers when playing the Tier bet is to pick 3 banker numbers in the Tier. If a bigger bet is placed on these numbers in conjunction with the Tier bet then the customer would either win a smaller bet on the Tier bet or win bigger with the banker numbers.
